Now Trending

High Point Furniture Market was just a few weeks ago. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it and stop by our showroom. We hope you loved it as much as we did. We'd like to share some trends that we spotted around market, enjoy!

Tufting

Tufting is showing up on classic and contemporary pieces. From sofas to chairs to beds, we have many styles to fix your tufting craze. We even have different styles of tufting including button tufting and large or small scale tufting on our Nocturne Bed Series. Here are some of our displays from markets showing off our tufted pieces.
The Chester Sofa from our DwellStudio collection has deep tufting
and was recently featured in an Apartment Therapy Blog

Our new bench ottoman also features tufting and is available in both fabric and leather.

Contrasting Details

Another trend seen all over market was contrasting welts and stitching. Using different color stitching and welts adds and extra dimension to a piece and becomes part of the actual design. We displayed two sofas with contrast welt at market including the Chester Sofa shown above with contrasting leather welt, and the Larkin Sofa, shown below.

We showed this sofa in a wool bend fabric contrasted by welts of the same fabric in a lighter color. The accent pillow reflects both colors and brings the whole design together.

Nailhead Trim

Nailhead trim detail was also widely seen this market. Nailhead trim is standard on many pieces in our line and can be added to several sofas and chairs as well. Metallic accents are still very popular and using nailhead trim is a great way to incorporate metallics into your design. It's like jewelry for upholstery!
Above you can see how nailhead trim detail on our new 3128-S1 Sofa and the 3107-C1 chair adds a touch of elegance to this setting.
Our 2953-CH Chair and a Half is a great option for tight spaces and looks spectacular with our Platinum Nailhead Trim.

Mad Men

With the growing popularity of the hit AMC show Mad Men, we are also seeing mid century modern styling in fashion and the home. The 1960's are taking over, and we are right in step.

Our new 3132-S1 sofa and 3132-C1 chair look as though they could've come right out of Don Draper's home.
