Color Psychology

We all know different colors evoke different feelings. Color psychology is the study of how colors play a factor in human behavior. So, this week we are taking a look at how color plays an impact on our lives and help you determine which color best suits your personality!

Colors Revealed:

Red: Red is a high energy color. It is the color of roses, fire, and blood, so it is often associated with romance, war, courage, strength and danger.  Red is often used to create a sense of urgency, warning, passion, or  leadership. Did you know red actually has a physical effect on the body? It can cause your heart rate to rise, increases breathing, and can also enhance your metabolism! Red is perfect for a bedroom, kitchen, dining room, or gym.*

Yellow: What is the first thing you think of when you see yellow? Well the sun of course! Yellow is associated with happiness, joy and energy. It also stimulates metal activity and is an attention grabber. Yellow creates a sense of freshness, and is also associated with honor and loyalty. Blue: Being the color of the sky and ocean, blue is associated with depth, stability and tranquility. Like red, blue has its own physical effects on the body. It promotes calmness and suppresses appetite. Blue is also representative of clarity, cleanliness, healing and seriousness.
