Trend Alert: Spring 2012

Spring has sprung! Today is official the first day of spring and we are excited to share some trends this season. First off, we'll look at some color trends from Pantone!

These spring colors mix bright punches of color, subtle pastels, and essential neutrals that are easily combined together for a fresh presentation. Of course we need to mention Tangerine Tango, the Pantone color of the year. This fun, bright orange is energetic and screams spring. We are seeing this color all over in the fashion world, but it can also add a fun pop of color to interiors as well. Go bold with a wall color, or subtle with accent pieces.

Next we'll take a look at some pattern trends from Harper's Bazaar. Trends they saw at New York Fashion Week include "Flower Power," and "Out of Africa." Precedent is keeping right in line with these trends with some of our new fabric introductions for Spring Market. Another hot trend is geometrics. You can translate this trend into your home in endless ways. From wall art and coverings to furniture and accessories, geometrics can add a unique element to any room.
